At The Hideout

A quiet longing for something greater,

Your body as a bridge and your dance as a prayer.

Arms open to the mystery of each unfolding moment,

returning to the wholeness from which you came.

welcome to the temple

Dance Temple offers a conscious, sober environment where the music can be felt in its totality and where you can meet yourself honestly on the dance floor. It is a place to express, to release, to deepen and to remember the power of being fully alive in your body.

What to expect

Presence

Presence is powerful — and when we choose it together, it becomes electric. There is something incredibly exciting about a room full of people choosing to be here, now — in dance, in appreciation, and in sharing this experience.

themed nights

Each Dance Temple will be a carefully curated journey built around a unique theme. My love is in blending genres in a way that feels intentional and immersive, creating a sonic landscape that carries you somewhere beyond the ordinary.

Connection

Each night will gently close with shared tea and space to connect through conversation. We are not only creating a powerful dance floor; we are cultivating a thriving community.

Rachael creates a spiritual and warm space for self exploration through conscious movement. her ecstatic dance journey creates the perfect safe space for contemplation and focus through conscious movement.

FAQ

Who is Dance Temple for?

Dance Temple is for music and dance lovers alike. It is for those who enjoy the energy of clubbing but are seeking something more connected, intentional and meaningful. It is for people who want to experience the depth of a powerful sound system and a full dance floor, without the distraction of substances or social performance. It is for those who are curious about the spiritual dimension of dance and want to feel incredibly alive in their bodies.

Do I need to be a dancer or know how to dance?

No. You do not need to be an experienced dancer, and you do not need to know any particular steps or move in a certain way. Dance Temple is not about how you look,  it is about how you feel. The invitation is simply to listen to your body and respond to the music in whatever way feels natural to you. When you allow your body to lead, something shifts, and it is incredibly liberating to experience.

What can I expect?

The night will begin with gentle guidance to help you arrive in your body and settle into presence. From there, you will move through a curated musical journey that gradually builds in energy, weaving depth and release as it unfolds. You may experience a range of emotions — from joy and softness to power and catharsis — as dance has a way of both enlivening and regulating us at the same time. This is a sober, phone-free space, allowing you to immerse yourself fully without distraction. We will close the evening with shared tea and time to connect, giving space to land, integrate and meet one another in conversation.

How can I best prepare?

Wear layers and clothes you feel comfortable moving in, so you can fully relax into the dance. There will be a bar with water and light snacks available to keep you fuelled throughout the night. Come as you are — whether you are arriving full of energy or feeling a little tender, all of you is welcome here. Sometimes movement, music and community are exactly what you need to shift, soften or recharge.
