Journey through movement & Music

 Music and movement has the ability to take you deep. When we allow our bodies to lead something magic happens. Our thinking mind takes a back seat and our bodies inner knowing guides the way. In these sessions, we work with carefully curated music, intentional prompts, and embodied cues that support you to drop fully into the present moment. You’ll be invited to explore different energies, textures, and emotional landscapes, accessing deeper layers of awareness and freedom within yourself.

What to expect

Presence

In Dance Journey, presence is the foundation. This is an invitation to step out of autopilot and into the aliveness of the moment. As the music moves through you, you’ll be gently guided through sensation, rhythm, layers and breath. You’ll learn to anchor into your body and return to the here and now — again and again.

The more present you become, the more freedom you experience. Movement becomes natural. Expression becomes honest. The mind quiets, and the body leads. This is a practice of coming home to yourself.

Over years of dancing and guiding movement spaces, I’ve discovered that when we explore with intention, our experience deepens.

Each Dance Journey weaves in a subtle theme — a doorway into fuller expression and self-understanding.

This might look like breathing consciously with our movements, experimenting with stillness, or tending to the body with curiosity and care. These invitations offer new ways to meet yourself through movement.

Connection

Despite the dancefloor being a non-verbal space, something deeply relational happens when we move together. As we share the floor, we begin to express and feel in ways that go beyond words .By simply showing up and moving as we are, we strengthen our sense of belonging. The dancefloor becomes a space where expression is welcomed, individuality is respected, and connection grows naturally through shared experience.

What to expect?

This is a 2-hour immersive dance workshop, carefully curated to weave music and themed exploration together.

Each session carries a different focus. One week we may explore moving with the breath, another week we might dive into dancing the different layers of the music, at other times, we may explore how to access trance 

You’ll be guided with simple cues and invitations throughout, while still having space to move in your own way. There is room for curiosity, depth, play and self-discovery. Each workshop is an opportunity to expand your inner landscape, improve your relationship to your body and access greater levels of freedom, intuition and expression. 

Do I need to be a dancer?

Not at all. Dance Journey is especially supportive for people who don’t feel fully comfortable dancing. There’s no choreography to learn and no way to “get it right.” The focus is on connecting to your own body and moving in a way that feels natural to you. Through simple guidance and intentional music, you’ll be supported to build confidence in your movement, tune into your body, and discover your own rhythm. You don’t need experience — just a willingness to show up and explore.

how Do I prepare?

Come as you are and bring your wonderful self.

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, and bring layers so you can stay warm and comfortable throughout the dance. A bottle of water is recommended to keep you hydrated. There is a car park available at the venue, and it’s located right next to the cycle path, making it easy to arrive by bike if that feels good for you.

How is Dance Journey different to Dance Temple?

Dance Journey is a guided workshop-style experience with intentional facilitation throughout the evening. You will be offered movement prompts, invitations and structured explorations designed to help you access specific inner landscapes and expand your personal expression. It is more reflective and process-oriented, with space to consciously work with themes and deepen your embodied awareness.

Dance Temple, in contrast, holds more of a club night atmosphere. The music flows as a continuous DJ set with minimal verbal guidance, giving you more space to follow your own rhythm and be led by your inner compass. While both are rooted in presence and conscious movement, Dance Journey offers more direction, and Dance Temple offers more freedom within the collective pulse of the dance floor.
